Greetings. This web site is dedicated to helping parents of all children - whether the children are in public school, in private school, or being homeschooled. This site is always under construction as time permits and as new information is compiled. Please check back often for updates.
Rosehill Academy/Children's Academic Program is an approved K-12 private school in the State of Washington. At the present time, it is an out-based, alternative educational program serving students locally and with distance education. One of the school's functions is serving homeschoolers in a variety of ways which will be outlined in detail below; but as stated above, much of the information will be useful for those parents with children in public and private schools as parents support and supplement the education of their students.
If you are interested in any of the services listed, please write Karen at kga117@Icehouse.net

Rosehill Academy/Children's Academic Program has the following library services available.
Over 5,000 books, for all grades and in all subject areas, have been catalogued and are available for checkout. Over 300 reproducible activity books, grades ps-up are available for short-term checkout or Karen can copy needed materials for you. Many games and puzzles are also available. Reading lists for your child's reading level can also be provided. Lists are available for K-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12.
Because I am a homeschooling resource for the greater eastern Washington/northern Idaho region, I have begun carrying many books which parents can buy. However, because I am not a retailer, my prices often beat the price one would have to pay in a retail store. See the Curriculum Ordering Service link above for details.
Please check the links below for many quality book lists.

Karen has published a Newsletter for parents for several years. Though a complete listing of the index is too long to install on the homepage, some articles have focused on preschool education, spelling, language arts, reading, literature for preschoolers through highschoolers, math, and history. If you are interested in a complete index, contact Karen through her internet address.
